CRITERIA FOR A WELL-PERFORMED CARPET RESTORATION

To perform a well-performed carpet restoration, the identity of the carpet must be enlightened (from where the carpet is originated?). In other words, we look for the origin of the carpet. Is it a Persian weaving? If so, which part of the Persia did it came from? The type of knot technique and thread spinning type are some criteria we look for. Furthermore, if it belongs to a specific country such as Turkey, we also determine the specific regions of this country such Anatolia, Ladik, Milas, etc. Then we determine the dying and weaving techniques of related region and make a restoration thereof; because you cannot use the materials of a Kayseri Carpet for a Malatya Carpet. Otherwise, this application would contradict with the main characteristic of the carpet. The original carpet materials used should be characteristically identical to those used for restoration. These are nuances but they determine the quality of restoration. The quality of a restoration is hidden in the realms of nuances. We ensure you;
Because we love this job.

Abrasion :The color differences of cotton and silk carpets can be changed into one color as can be seen in the picture. If required, we can change the background color into a different color

Smoothing :The most important particular to be considered is the maintenance of the carpet after restoration. We name this as smoothing. This is one of the important elements of the restoration. You can see a smoothed carpet in the picture.

Sacak Restoration :Here you can see the world famous Hereke carpets’ post-restoration status.The pre-status and posterior status of the carpet.
